How many different phone lines can you have in one apartment?

I want like 2 or 3 analog phone lines in my studio apartment all with different numbers. Is there any compliance laws that would prevent me from doing this? I want these for my home businesses.

No laws. Just need your landlord's permission to run that many wires into your unit.

I don't believe there are any laws preventing you from having 2 or 3 lines. I have had 3 lines in a residence before. I have heard you can have up to five.
