How can I get a decently cheap new phone?

I have verizon and my phone is almost to the point where I can't use it anymore. I need a new phone that isn't a piece of crap, but all the prices are so high if I don't sign up for a 2-year plan. I don't want a new plan, just a replacement phone for cheap. Any suggestions?

Get a virginmobile pay as you go phone. There's no contract, and free texting. You pay as you need minutes.

You could try the mbSpot shop, it isnt finished being built yet but they accept orders now, their prices are great. My Sony Ericsson G900.. ROCKS!
