I want to get a Verizon Phone but can I take my sims card and transfer it from a cingular phone to a Verizon phone?

No sorry but Verizon and Cingular use two different systems so you are not able to transfer between carriers. Cingular uses the sim card as does T-Mobile. Verizon and I believe Sprint and Alltell do not use sim cards.

Verizon does not use Sim cards they use a different technology. For all the know alls go head and give a thumps down.

no if you switch from one company to another, than you have to sign up to their plan

yea pretty sure. i changed from a nokia phone to a motarola to a samsung. works great on all of them
