What is the best touchscreen phone on the market and why?

Im about to buy a new phone and I am quite keen on the idea of a touchscreen phone. I have had mixed reviews about touchscreens and I just want to know which is the best and also if u do not think a touchscreen is good, what would you says is the best non-touchscreen phone?

biggest to hit the markey at the moment are the samsung pixon the samsung tocco the LG cookie and the nokia 5800

Oh and the iphone but before thinking iphone this is what it cant do that the others can

Cannot use blutooth to send or recieve files

Cannot forward messaging

3g finctions on the iphone are slower than other 3g phoes

example if you like msn messenger these other phones will auto refresh the messages the iphone you have to keep clicking refresh manually

personal choice a blackberry they are very handy and you can access the internet at good speeds and they are immune to being blu jacked and everyone i have sold a blackberry to said they would never go back to another phone if you like touch screens try the blackberry storm also blackberrys have had the lowest fault return rates in my store

Actually the Iphone is crap, best touch phone atm is HTC Touch HD, it has everything you can think off except flash integrated in camera, if the camera will be improved everything on this phone will rock, the touch screen is awesome, better than on the Iphone plus it has more features. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20090218122132AAMHxda&kid=LJBzDzDpUUgaQm.BOBxb&s=comm&date=2009-02-26+01%3A39%3A06&.crumb=

I think anyone would say the iPhone! But if you want a cheaper version go for the LG Renoir or even the LG Cookie, or even Samsung has some! You mightthink that the Nokia 5800 Xpress music ischunky but its a great phone!

If I were you, I would buy a touch screen. Im kinda In the same position as you, LG Cookie or LG KS360.

Hope this helps.
