What is the safest cell phone with the least radiation exposure?

I'm going to need a new cell phone soon and I am wondering if there are some that throw off less radiation than others. I have had a razr for the last two years and it hasn't been a very good phone.

All cell phones give off radio waves, which are a form of radiation. Although I don't put much stock in the concerns, many people are concerned and wish to minimize their exposure.

The best scheme I know of to minimize exposure is to use a wired or bluetooth headset. The radiation source -- mainly the antenna -- can be moved away from the body and the radiation exposure reduced. Also, if the body is absorbing the radio radiation, then it is also blocking some of the signal from reaching your phone, hurting reception.

With a headset, you can position the phone for best reception without needing to put your head in the same place.

It is important to remember, though, that radio waves reduce in intensity with the square of the distance from the source. With the headset against the side of the head (maybe 1 inch away), the radiation will be 100 times as intense as it will be if you move the headset 10 inches away. Distance takes a small risk (arguable negligable) and make is many times smaller.

Samsungs are a good make, i have a d900 and i love it!

cell phones emit a negligible amount of radiation

so pretty much, any cell phone. you're not going to get brain cancer from talking on the phone.
