How can I make a phone call with a credit card?

I think there is a 1-800 number to dial to use a credit card to make a long distance phone call. Does anyone know it? (My cell phone is dead and I need to use the office phone.) Thanks!

call the operator (0) and tell her you need to make a phone-call using a credit card! but I can tell you now, this is going to be an expensive phone-call....like 12.95 dollars per call, 1 or 2 minutes only....they charge the same amount!
