How do I keep my phone from cutting out the internet?

Now read this carefully, i have a wireless router and a computer, and a ps3 with online. Whenever i play online, its fine, but when someone answers the phone, the wireless internet goes out, and when people press end on the phone, it goes out. How can i fix this problem? And im talking about the homephone.

Your router can't be the same radio band as the phones you use. Example our phones are 5.8 but router is 2.4. It is like having walkie talkies that are on the same channel and you want 2 different conversations....that doesn't work. If your phone and router are different, then you need to contact your internet provider to get the DSL filter. You have to have a DSL filter if you have DSL internet. If these are not the problem then you would need to have someone look at it, but chances are it is one of these. :)

If your phone is a 2.4GHz cordless phone, it's interference between the Wireless Access Point (Router) and the phone. Get one that is 5.8GHz, or DECT 6.0.
