Note: this question is *not* about carriers. Just phones. I am aware that Verizon & Sprint's networks rely on CDMA technology that does not interoperate with the GSM networks managed by Cingular/AT&T and T-Mobile.
For music players, the chocolate is hands-down the best. Yes, i have owned it and only for Verizon.
Best camera/camcorder, Samsung A990 which I have tested for Verizon. It is the best camera phone upon the market for resolution with 3.2 megapixel and hook up to the tv & record up to an hour of time as well as playback. Very nice!
Best PDA, Samsung I830 for Verizon which is a music compliant for mp3 & GLOBAL phone for CDMA & GSM... Oh so cool to have as well anywhere in the world.
HOPE THAT THIS HELPS::::Motorola PEBL
So small at only 3.88 ounces yet quite feature-rich with a fair performance: acceptable battery life, speakerphone, camera and few culprits make the PEBL an interesting choice for most people.

2) Motorola V3
The slimmest Motorola, the Motorola RAZR V3, is only half an inch thick yet it has a 640 x 480 digital camera, a built-in speakerphone, a good battery life (Talk time is 200 minutes and stand-by, 180 hours) and Bluetooth!

3) Nokia 6133
One of the phones that comes up most often in my Cell Phone Chooser Test. Bluetooth, infrared, speakerphone, 1.3-megapixel camera, EDGE high speed internet, inexpensive, good battery life, MP3 player, memory expansion slot and 11MB of built-in memory... Wow
