Is Digital Phone from a cable provider considered a continuous land-based phone connection for Direct TV?

I would want NFL Sunday Ticket which requires a landline phone. I'm wondering if digital phone service from cable tv providers are considered landline phones. They use the same jacks in my house as a traditional phone company.

for the purposes of what you are refering to yes, you can consider a cable provider telephone service as a land line service, however in the general sence VoIP service is not considered land line service. the term land line refers to traditional POTS telephone service.

Yes it's considered a land line. Most satellite companies require a phone line so they can keep your receiver updated through the phone. I would look at what Dish Network has to offer. AT&T has a bundle package deal . Last I saw they were offering High speed Internet, Phone, and Dish Network, For $63.00 a month for all three services . This was a quaranteed life time price.
